Open Studios

  • Space 4 Art Inc. 340 16th Street San Diego, CA, 92101 United States (map)

Join us for our final Open Studios of 2025 on Saturday, December 13, from 5:00–7:30 PM!

Wander through our artist studios at your own pace, meet our resident artists, and get a peek at works taking shape in their spaces. Throughout the evening, enjoy live performances by resident artists Bryttney-Mischele Salvant (poetry) and Drummers Without Borders, and special guest sets by teen band Killer Trees and Anthony & Sunny Rey Azzarito of Poets Underground. Check back here in early December for the full performance schedule.

You’ll also get a first look at the unique artworks in our Silent Auction. These pieces were originally begun by our UnGala guests in October, guided by sewing artist Claudia Rodriguez-Biezunski of Sew Loka and visual artist Michelle Montjoy. Since then, Claudia and Michelle have thoughtfully finished each piece— transforming these collaborative starts into beautiful, one-of-a-kind works ready to find new homes.

Looking for meaningful holiday gifts? Many of our resident artists will also have original artwork available for purchase during Open Studios. Don’t hesitate to ask! Space 4 Art never takes a cut of artists’ sales, so your dollars go directly to support their work. It’s a wonderful way to support local artists and give something truly special this season.

Admission is, as always, free. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase with cash, card, or Venmo.

We can’t wait to celebrate the close of 2025 with you. Come make space for art, community, and a little year-end magic!
